Newnagy R&D group achieved breakthrough in industrialization of nanogenerator technology. A new type of piezoelectric products was produced successfully in trial by using an existing production line of a local outsourced factory. The technology of embed-in such products used to be largely monopolized by a US public traded company. The series of products based on nanogenerator technology developed by Newnagy show technical advantages on three aspects. First, signal intensity of output voltage is strong, and sensitivity is high; secondly, polarization manufacturing process is removed, therfore the new process is low in production cost, having advantage in price competition; thirdly, self-shielding effect is outstanding, and it can be applied in high interference environment. This new type of piezoelectric products developed by Newnagy will fill up such products’ technology gap in Chinese industry standard.

Piezoelectric products are widely used in applications. It has been applied in the fields of ITS (such as traffic flow measurement, weigh-in-motion, over-speeding monitoring), buffer switch on automation equipment (to protect worker and equipment), count and protection of logistics systems (eg. perimeter protection, vibration protection system in various sites), underwater ultrasonic detector, nondestructive testing of structure, etc. It has huge market potential.
